Spring Trip 2012

The results from the interest sheets are in and the spring trip to Orlando, Florida is "A GO".  Brochures will be handed out today that contain the trip details and payment slips.

Spring Trip Review

As a review, sheets were sent home to parents to see who was interested in attending the spring trip to Orlando, Florida.  This trip is not required nor will students be required to do any alternative work for not going on the trip.  We needed to know how many students were interested in attending this trip in order to see if we had the proper instrumentation to perform.

As mentioned at our last booster meeting, next year we are planning a large trip (cruise in the spring or large parade event in the fall).  I wanted to let parents know about next year's plan so they can make an informed decision about this year's trip.  We understand trips are not getting any cheaper due to the increasing cost of fuel and next year's trip will probably be around $850 per student.  This is why we are making these trips completely optional.

Packets

Today each student that committed to the trip will receive a packet from Thomas Tours.  This packet contains ALL the details of this trip and is very thorough.  Please read the information completely and submit your first payment to Thomas Tours by November 30, 2011.  THIS PACKET is available in our download section.

Eligibility

• Students must be enrolled in band/guard/percussion for the spring.
• Student spring fees must be paid in full.
